Referees play an important role in creating a fun, fair and enjoyable competition for everyone at Evans Head Touch Football.

Whether you’re a player, parent, supporter or new to touch football, becoming a referee is a great way to get involved, develop your skills and support our local competition.

Level 1 referee course

Evans Head Touch Football provides opportunities for new referees to complete a Level 1 Referees Course.

The course includes:

  • An online learning component to complete before attending
  • A face-to-face practical session
  • Support as you develop your refereeing skills

A cost applies to participate in the course, with details to be confirmed.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a subsidy towards the cost of a referee shirt.

New and returning referees

No matter your experience level, we welcome new referees and encourage returning referees to let us know their availability for the upcoming season.

Our referees are an important part of our competition, and many are continuing to learn and develop their skills throughout the season.
